Both of our Acupuncturists are state licensed and nationally board certified practitioners. Maureen and Cynthia met in acupuncture school
where they received a strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. Each furthered her studies including a certification in
Toyo Hari—a Japanese Style of Acupuncture— and multiple other
techniques learned through extensive continuing education.
Supportive therapies used include cupping, electroacupuncture, Guasha, and patent formula herbal medicine.
In addition to the above, Maureen combines acupuncture with
bio energetic techniques for allergy elimination, arthritis, and autoimmune disease treatments. Korean Hand Therapy and advanced auricular
techniques are woven into many treatments as adjunct or primary
treatments for pain and other conditions.
In addition to Chinese and Japanese acupuncture, Cynthia Clarke has trained in thought field therapy, homeopathy, neuro-emotional technique (NET), Anma massage, bioenergetics, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong. She holds a Maryland Certification in Animal Acupuncture.
